This research paper reviews 42 studies of occupational exposure to electric and magnetic fields and neurodegenerative diseases. The reports authors concluded that there was a “moderately increased risk” for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The reports authors argue that, “Our results do not support MF (magnetic fields) as the explanation for observed associations”. This conservative interpretation of the results is not surprising. The study was indirectly funded by the electrical utility industry and the reports author is an employee of EPRI, a nonprofit organization funded by the electrical utility industry.

Lloyd. Thanks for posting the complete article. The closing remark says it all. >
“The study was indirectly funded by the electrical utility industry and the reports author is an employee of EPRI, a nonprofit organization funded by the electrical utility industry.”
The vast majority of studies provided by the CDC and PlosOne are faulty by design, thus intentionally misleading. The true facts regarding DNA alterations and long-term cognitive damage are well documented in the BioInitiative report of 2012. There are many credible studies with specific statements regarding EM radiation exposure, and the exacerbation of multiple sclerosis symptoms.
When all the forests are dead and gone, crops fail season after season, and all animals and birds are dead, it will be far too late for fools and liars.

Hi Lloyd,
Do you know of any studies trying to find out why Emf’s effect some people and not others??
Regards Chris

Hi Chris
Studies indicate EMF exposures affect everybody, it’s just that some can feel it and others can’t. Brain tumors, cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimers and many other diseases are just another aspect of the damage EMFs can cause.

Thanks Lloyd

These are a few studies which report a relationship between ALS and EM exposures. There are other studies listed in the reference articles at the close of these various studies.

[“The fact that RF exposure causes neurological damage has been documented repeatedly. Increased blood-brain barrier permeability and oxidative damage, which are associated with brain cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, have been found.4,7,15-17 Nittby et al. demonstrated a statistically significant dose-response effect between non-thermal RF exposure and occurrence of albumin leak across the blood-brain barrier.15 Changes associated with degenerative neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) have been reported.4,10 Other neurological and cognitive disorders such as headaches, dizziness, tremors, decreased memory and attention, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, decreased reaction times, sleep disturbances and visual disruption have been reported to be statistically significant in multiple epidemiological studies with RF exposure occurring non-locally.”]

Do you know of any other supported info for other health problems related to rf radiation exposure and shock such as asthma, muscle cramps arthritis, my husband was in the service in mob communications.
