Is Your Smart Phone Sucking The Life Out Of You?

Is your smart phone sucking the life out of you?

I got sent this amusing infographic today.

Smart phone radiation is a (very) serious topic so it's nice to look at the lighter side of things sometimes.

But let's not forget the biggest danger smart phones pose to our health is the EMFs they emit.

Cancer is the number one concern in many people's eyes, but it's not just about cancer, numerous studies link these exposures to a long list of other serious diseases.

This article details some of the main cell phone radiation studies and gives you a link to a summary you can print-out that you can share with your friends (who've got smart phones if you haven't!).

Smartphones are a hazard just being on your body on or off!
Women should not stash them in your bras
No one should use them in cars or any other enclosed vehicle because the microwave transmission have to work harder to connect phone with cell towers and therefore, the microwabe radiation is much more powerful!!
The more powerful the phones get—the more hazardous to your bodies!!!

Shame on you for suggesting a cell phone should be in your pocket — read the manual that came with your phone and/or watch the film, “Mobilize”. Your phone should be at least 1 inch away from your body. Otherwise, interesting!

I’m pretty sure that you should not have phone on your body anywhere as it reduced sperm production,…plus the suggestion of an ear phone brings the radiation directly to your brain, unless it has air tube in it. A car blue tooth increases the radiation, the whole car acts as a magnifier and surrounds you. Blue tooth in general is bad.

Good. But a serious error regarding cell phone kept in a pocket. Also using a head set…most would consider that The blue tooth is the best option. Well, they aren’t good either. They also might have mentioned… an Air-tube type of ear bud instead. Other wise, its a good one.

    Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a smartphone on the market which is somehow safe to use??
It doesn’t matter if it looks old fashioned or whatever. The most important thing is that I can use it to open my email and whats app several times a day (shortly) I need a smartphone to check my emails etc when I’m on the road for work. I am about to buy the best protection so I can use a smartphone at least a bit safer.

    THANK YOU very much!

    Kind regards,

    Kim from Amsterdam

Hi Kim, it’s more about HOW you use your smart phone, rather than the make/model or the radiation exposures. In truth, we don’t have reliable information which enables us to compare one phone with another in terms of these exposures (unfortunately SAR does do this)… see my cell phone radiation protection tips https://www.electricsense.com/775/how-to-protect-yourself-from-cell-phone-radiation/
