Cell phones are one of the greatest technological advances of our era; they are comfortable, easy to use, and are equipped increasingly with more and more sophisticated features.
Cell phones can also save lives. If you are out on the road or out walking and you have an accident they can be very helpful in an emergency.
In the event of an earthquake, disaster crews can locate trapped or injured people using the signals emitted from their mobile phones, or even from the energy given out by the battery in the mobile phone.
Mobile phones can now be used to surf the Internet. Low cost WiFi enables many people to have access to the Internet at locations like shops, libraries, restaurants, stations etc.
So what is the downside of using a mobile phone? Â The impact of electromagnetic fields generated by cell phones on the human brain has received little attention until recently. The problem is that a viable independent study needs to look at the effects of a mobile phone over a long period, ideally at least 10 years.
Well, do you have 10 years? Do your children?
I know, first hand that cell phones are dangerous. I don't need the science to convince me that cell phone radiation exists and is bad for my health, I can feel the effects every day…..
