I would like to make a suggestion that NZ 50 Hz power is 6.84 Meters long as it travels the speed of sound and not the speed of light.

(this has been a hard nut to crack, exposing this theory and trying not to upset anybody.https://www.electricsense.com/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif)

this relates to 22.5 feet long for 60 Hz per wavelength.

The reason why I suggest this, the theory books have got it wrong, and 50 Hz (or 60 Hz for that matter) does not travel the speed of light and goes the speed of sound, if a home entertainment system is faulty and 50 Hz power hum comes from the speakers, it can be heard.

If 50 Hz was 3750 miles length in wavelength, then by the time it traveled via from the speakers then the frequency would be outside the human hearing range.

This misunderstand put me off purchasing goods sold on some internet websites, that was on special at the time.
