Hi,

I discovered the Electric Sense website recently and just joined the forums.

I am married and have five children. My husband and I recently started turning the breaker off to our bedroom at night but haven’t done anything else. We are noticing a subtle difference. Has anyone else done this?

I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. I’m wondering specifically what effect EMF’s can have on the nervous system? Specifically with regards to the meylin sheath on the nervous system, depression, OCD etc.

Thanks.Smile
Theresa

The Bioinitiative Report 2012 has a whole section on EMF exposures and “‘Changes in the Nervous System and Brain Function’, see https://www.electricsense.com/w…..rt2012.pdf this report is an excellent summary of the independent studies that have been done on EMFs – I encourage you to read this.

Hi all,

I was doing a search and found this site. All of this is mind boggling. I am especially interested in knowing more about massage chairs. I recently bought one and they will deliver this week. However, a friend told me bad for me. Now it’s too late to get a refundEmbarassedConfused

I am very worried about the effects of it as I may be sensitive to this and did not know it.

Please advise. I don’t know what to do. I was very excited to purchase this elite robopad massage chair but now very afraid. Is there a way to protect myself and hubby from emf’s? ConfusedCry

Would appreciate your help!

Thanks

Marie

Its very likely that the massage chair you’ve bought emits electric and magnetic fields….its got an electric motor so this is a near certainty. But don’t be too quick to judge. There are always pros and cons with these kinds of devices. On the one hand there are the potential health benefits from the massage and on the other there are the EMF exposures you are subjecting yourself to. The question is do the pros outweigh the cons?….gradual use over a period of time will tell you this. Unless you are suffering from severe electrical sensitivity which triggers an immediate reaction to the chair I suggest you use it moderately and build up over time monitoring your symptoms/reaction to the chair. When you’re sat in the chair but not using it for massages be sure to unplug it from the wall.
