I live in rural southwest Virginia, about a half mle from a cell tower. I have about every symptom of EMS listed plus a few. Since EM is radiation, can it cause you to lose hair? My hair is thinning badly, especially in this past year. To complicate the answer, I’m 58 and have had my thyroid removed. My m.d. insists my thyroid dose is too low, yet blood tests show it is just a bit over the high range, so I switched to Armor (natural) thyroid replacement from Synthroid. Also, I have FM and sleep on an Englander adjustable bed with, guess what, a vibrator. It’s the only way I can sleep through most of the night. And, yes, I wake up every a.m. feeling like I haven’t slept, but that’s the 27-year and counting CFIDS, right? Or maybe not? Wink

My first post… Are you familiar with the website Stop The Thyroid Madness? I’ve only seen it as a facebook page, but they seem to know their stuff re: test results, etc.

Trying to figure my way around this forum…tried to reply a moment ago but…

Okay, are you familiar with the website Stop The Thyroid Madness? I only know them from their facebook page, but their posts indicate the members know their way around the intricacies of test results, etc.

Not sure I’m doing this posting business right, but…

Sadly realizing that this topic has played in my life for many years without my realization. Probably explains why changes I’ve put so much effort into have had less than stellar results. Sad, most of all, to find this when the financial damage is done and buying the various testers and protective measures is outside my ability. So, hoping to find on this forum broken shoestring tactics for protecting myself going forward.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve heard of an homeopathic remedy that might help but the only thing available (medically) is Synthroid and Armour. The first is synthetic and the second is natural (from pig thyroid). Neither sound appealing.

Chenel, sleeping on a bed that has a vibration mechanism that is naturally electric will cause you further EMR/EMF problems from the electrical fields of the motor.

Hi.

To add to WiFikids electrical fields from the motor, is also the problem with water beds….similar problem..so do please look that thread up on this Forum if you ever should consider that.

Some people find that mattress springs create electical antenna, but I am still using that sort myself. Foam is fine but may emit noxious chemicals!

There is a natural sort…is it called latex?… but it is more expensive.
