In October of 2015, I purchased a brand-new 2016 Kia Soul EV. It’s a long sad story and I need some expert advice. I’m looking for some expert and emotional support since it seems like I’m the only one (with my daughter) experiencing adverse health effects from driving the car. My symptoms have been headaches, tingling, heat and some swelling in lower legs and feet, trouble sleeping and onset of depression.
Has anybody else in this forum had adverse reactions from driving an electric vehicle?
Does anybody know what the allowed EMF levels for electric vehicles set by federal government are or where I could find that information?
I have an electromagnetic reader, but I’m not sure what the legal limits of EMF are.
I have more questions and parts to my story, but maybe the introduction page is not the place to post it to. Thank you for listening…
Hello Cekaytee, and welcome to the forum. I hope you find some of the information and support you need here. I’ll add some comments under your other post. But you are not alone. I have managed to avoid electric cars so far, but a friend of mine has problems with some models when she rides as a passenger.
Have you tried the FCC for legal limits? Though if they exist and are as relevant as the limits for other forms of exposure they will not be very helpful, except possibly if you find they are exceeded in your car.
