I want to ground a very functional lamp/torchiere that I have, with a shielded grounding cable by attaching the ground cable to it’s metallic base which is connected to its metallic body. The lamp’s body is very tall and it’s wires run throughout it, all the way to the top. In regards to EMF reduction, shall I aim to shield the cable that runs through its metallic body, or is it good enough that the shielded cable runs only from it’s base to the wall outlet?
