I have just read that Elon Musk is moving ahead with his 12000 internet satellites.

Apparently they will not require towers to relay the signal. This creates some questions, does anyone have sufficient understanding of how these will work or the possible emf these things will bake the earth with?

Hello TinfoilHat and welcome to the forum.
Elon Musk is not the only player in this particular game. There is more information about other participants and why this may not be a great idea on this site http://www.stopglobalwifi.org/ In the 1990’s Robert Becker was expressing concern (in one of his books – I forget which one) about possible damage to the upper atmosphere and impact on climate and weather patterns arising from transmitting microwaves in the upper atmosphere.
I have some documents from GUARDS (http://licensing.fcc.gov/myibf…..ey=1159464 seems to be the most relevant) which seem to confuse 5G and wifi, so they are not entirely clear exactly what is going to be beamed down, but I suspect the results may be similar. Originally I heard that it was Wifi, but that is becoming an all-inclusive term for any kind of microwave electrosmog, which is unfortunate as wifi is a quite distinct protocol.
One other issue which no-one seems to be addressing – what right has Elon Musk, the FCC etc. to decide what type and level of electrosmog will be beamed down onto every country in the world, whether they want it or not.

Partly, Ilon Musk is a dreamer. I think only time will tell whether it works or not.
