Anyone contemplating a fibre optic link from Bell might be interested in this.
Yet another example of an ISP simply lying about their technology and showing stunning ignorance of the issues around it. And being incapable of providing a satisfactory solution.
Also interesting side-issue of the heat being produced – implying significant electricity usage for a ‘service’ which she could not even use, not having a ‘Smart’ TV.
Still, it has its lighter side – they could not have picked a more unsuitable person to lie to about wireless technology. (Reminds me of an American newspaper sending a wireless-promoting thing of some kind to Cindy Sage!).
So if you are a Bell customer contemplating an upgrade, or planning to switch to Bell, be warned.
