“The world may be moving inexorably toward one of those tragic moments that will lead historians to ask: Why did they not act in time?”

War on Children
Yet another new weapon – complete with built-in phone charger and tablet support. Rather takes the shine of the ingenious concept of potentially useful self-charging features
But the resistance continues:
AAP new recommendations on reducing exposure
Follow-up on NTP study
Well-informed piece from a scientist. Includes suggestions for treatment.
Dariusz Leszczynski taking a break
This is unfortunate as his expert commentary, conference reports and presentations are always interesting and thought-provoking. He is one of the few commentators who seems willing to challenge ICNIRP, the WHO and their followers in regulatory bodies etc and to expose the flaws in their ‘scientific’ approach, conflicts of interest etc. However his book should be worth reading when it appears.

Solving a mm wave problem. This is interesting for two reasons
The lengths they will go to to make wireless technology work. Surely it must become more cost-effective at some point to simply run a fibre optic cable?
Conventional window film may offer a screening option for those who do not want this stuff penetrating their living space from outside.
CTIA propaganda – ‘the race to 5G is on’.
I’ve included this under ‘science’ because
The three NIH links are all to scientific papers
The papers and the article show that wifi has a similar effect on dental fillings to mobile phone radiation (reported in previous News items)
Is this another example of ‘different’ frequencies and modulations etc causing similar effects?
Similar effect from MRI
MRI and phones
Exposure levels and (non-linear) dose-response
Slightly humorous warning to ‘Governor Brown’ about SB649
