Here are a few items which caught my attention recently
The Suicidal Feelings, Self-Injury, and Mobile Phone Use After Lights Out in Adolescents
Conclusions Mobile phone use after lights out may be associated with poor mental health, suicidal feelings, and self-injury in both early and late adolescents. Association between reduced sleep and the mobile phone use was confined to early adolescents. [No mention of sleep quality?]
The latest in a series of studies on various aspects of sleep, depression etc in young people and how technology can affect them. Mostly coming to broadly similar conclusions.
Connection between masts and diabetes
The complete paper is available free online. Again, not the first suggestion of a connection.
Again not the first
Presentation by Dariusz L. (Sorry I can never spell his second name
Continues familiar themes from him – including his view that RF radiation should now be upgraded to a 2A carcinogen, and that Wifi should not be installed in schools until we know more about its effect.
Children with developmental difficulties/Autism spectrum etc
Video of a presentation by Dr Toril Jelter
And we still have wifi in schools?
Interesting that Jelter talks mainly about the radiation, Victoria Dunckley (videos on Vimeo and Youtube covering similar territory) talks about ‘screen time’ . Who is right? Possibly both of them. Either way, I don’t suppose the families involved care.
